MomFit
Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using MomFit. We kept them as short and clear as we could. By creating an account or using MomFit, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
MomFit is offered by MomPlan, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99587513, in the Netherlands ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@momfit.life.
These terms cover the MomFit app for iPhone and Apple Watch, its widgets and momfit.life. How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy policy at https://momfit.life/privacy.
2. What MomFit is
MomFit helps you plan your training, food and habits: training plans, exercises, calorie and food tracking, recipes and food plans, habits, meditation, progress tracking, an AI coach and friends to train with. Some features are free, others are part of MomFit Plus.
3. Health and fitness
MomFit is a fitness and food app, not a medical service. Training plans, calorie targets, calorie estimates, recipes and coach answers are general information, not medical, dietary or psychological advice, and they are not meant to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
You decide what you do with them. Train and eat within your own limits, and stop an exercise when something does not feel right. MomFit never sets a daily calorie target below 1,200 kcal.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use MomFit.
- Give correct information and keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person. If you also use MomPlan, you can use the same login for both apps.
- Tell us at support@momfit.life if you think someone else uses your account.
5. MomFit Plus and payments
- How to buy: MomFit Plus is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store, monthly or yearly. The App Store shows the price for your country before you buy. In the Netherlands, it is €9.99 a month, or €59.99 a year.
- First month offer: where offered, your first month of the monthly plan costs €4.99; after that it renews at the regular monthly price. Apple gives an introductory offer once per Apple Account. If an offer includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Renewal: payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for another month or year unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal is charged to your Apple Account within the 24 hours before the period ends, at the regular price of your plan.
- Cancelling: cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions). You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- Refunds: Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
- Price changes: if we change the price, Apple tells you beforehand, and where the law requires it you are asked to agree first.
What is free and what is in Plus can change over time. We will not take away something you already paid for during your current subscription period. To keep the AI features fast for everyone, they have a daily fair-use limit, also in Plus (for example 60 coach messages and 30 meal photos a day).
6. AI features
The coach, calories from a photo, recipe import and recipe ideas use artificial intelligence. The coach is an AI, not a person, and it tells you so.
AI can be wrong. Calorie and nutrition estimates are estimates; check ingredients and allergens yourself, especially when you or someone you cook for has an allergy. When the coach changes something for you, such as a training or a meal, it shows the change and you can undo it.
Do not use the AI features to create content that is illegal or harmful, or to try to make them work in ways they were not built for.
7. Food data and recipes
Food information comes from our own food list, from Open Food Facts (an open database built by volunteers, available under the Open Database License) and from what you enter. Nutrition values and calories can be incomplete or wrong. Recipes and food plans are suggestions; you are responsible for checking that a recipe is right for you.
If you send your shopping list to a supermarket, any order, payment and delivery is between you and that supermarket, under their terms. We do not sell groceries.
9. Your content
What you put into MomFit stays yours: your logs, notes, photos, recipes and plans. You give us permission to store, process and show it, only as needed to run MomFit for you and to show what you chose to share to the people you shared it with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content you shared with others that you did not remove (see the privacy policy).
10. Our content and the app
The app, its design, exercise illustrations, recipes, food plans, meditations and texts belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use MomFit for your own, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent out or redistribute the app or its content, reverse engineer it, or use it to build a competing service.
11. Apple
If you downloaded MomFit from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies to your licence to use the app. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for MomFit, its support or any claims about it, but Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. Apple Health and the Apple Watch work under Apple's own terms.
12. Availability and changes to the app
We work hard to keep MomFit running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop MomFit altogether, we tell you at least 30 days beforehand, and you can still ask for a copy of your data or delete it.
13. Liability
We are responsible for providing MomFit with reasonable care. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or lost data, or for damage caused by following plans, estimates or suggestions in MomFit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for MomFit in the 12 months before the damage.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
14. Ending
You can stop using MomFit and delete your account at any time in the app (More → Delete account, at the bottom). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the law. Where reasonable, we warn you first and tell you why.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when MomFit changes. For important changes, we tell you in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using MomFit and cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
16. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can go to court there. If you have a complaint, email us first; most things are solved quickly.
